Match report: L'Hospitalet 0 - Mallorca B 1

Mallorca have closed a demanding week with a win at Hospitalet . This has been a marathon week with three games in seven days. Out of nine points the academy team has obtained five. After drawing at Badalone and at home to Lleida Esportiu, today morning the men managed by Olaizola have won thanks to a goal by James in the first half. The youngster has sealed the score after a good assist by Cedric in the 24th minute.

The game has not had a clear dominator, despite the various attempts by the Mallorca academy team, who enjoyed the best chances in the match.

In the second half, both teams have exchanged goal opportunities. In the second 45 minutes, Parera’s performance has been key. Again another clean sheet, this one makes it three in a row. Also crucial has been Joan Sastre, who has averted the best chances by Hospitalet from the side.

With the favourable score the game was controlled and Javier Olaizola pushed back the lines after Jaume Pol and Antoine were subbed in for Fernando Cano and Cedric after leaving the pitch after performing at a good level. With a populated defence and the inspiration of Parera, the academy team has managed to hold the 0-1 lead and salvage the three points to check them in the flight back to Palma .

With this result, Mallorca B has 16 points to its name and climbs up to the 12th position in the table.
