Luis García Plaza says his side are more than ready for our clash with AD Alcorcón as fans return to the stadium for the first time in over a year.
Within touching distance of securing the final automatic promotion spot, the boss still believes this Sunday’s visitors can pose a serious threat to derail any potential celebrations.
"Alcorcón is a team with tremendous motivation and I have some doubts about how they can play against us,” he told journalists at a pre-match press conference. “They have one of the best set-piece players in the league in Nwakali who hits the ball incredibly well. Up front they have Xisco who has a lot of experience scoring goals and it is a team that has improved throughout the season. They will not make things easy for us, we are aware of that.
"I am very excited and very happy to be able to feel the fans and I am sure they will help us to get the victory,” he continued. “My feeling is that promotion going to take a little bit longer. I am lucky that our players are very motivated because we have a very nice objective in our hands. We are two steps away from making history again and I believe that the match can't have much more of an incentive.”
