Kumbulla visits school children at Verge de Lluc and Marratxí
The defender made the first visit of a new cycle of activities with the Fundació Reial Mallorca on the island
Marash Kumbulla is getting to know his island as he made his first visit of the season to the Fundació Reial Mallorca schools on Tuesday.
The centre back visited the Verge de Lluc neighbourhood and Marratxí to spend a day meeting and interacting with the children who take part in this social sports programme.
The visit aims to strengthen the bond between the club and the local community as Kumbulla had the opportunity to speak with the groups, answer their questions and share experiences about his career, his origins, his passion for football, his idols and the values that RCD Mallorca represents both on and off the pitch. He also took photos with everyone present and signed shirts and other items.
Also present at the visit to Marratxí were Juan Antonio Estarellas, Councillor for Sports, and Elvira García, Councillor for Social Services and Equality at the local council.
This visit marks the beginning of a new cycle of meetings and activities involving RCD Mallorca first team players in different neighbourhoods of Palma and other areas of the island where the Fundació Reial Mallorca has schools.
The aim is to strengthen the club's commitment to Mallorcan society, bringing the club closer to different parts of Mallorca and instilling the values of sport through its players.
