Javier Aguirre spoke to the media and reflected on our 2-0 defeat to Cádiz. Bogonda and Álex Fernández were on target for the hosts on a frustrating afternoon. Find out what the boss had to say below:
"They came in with a lot of intensity and what killed us was the VAR. We tried in the second half, we changed the set-up and the players, but it wasn't possible.
"I would like them to clarify one day who decides if the VAR comes in, if it is the one below [on the pitch] or the one above.
"They beat us well, there are no pretexts. They came in better and were better in the first half, I think we were better in the second half. We tried and it wasn't possible, I would congratulate Cádiz. They played well, they beat us well.”
