We were unlucky to fall to a 2-1 defeat at Real Madrid as a quickfire double from Arda Güler and Vinicius Junior overturned Vedat Muriqi's opener.
Jagoba Arrasate opted for Mateo Joseph to partner the returning Muriqi in attack while Mateu Morey retained his place at right back following his late equaliser the week before.
Kylian Mbappe thought he gave the hosts an early lead when he raced through on goal and found the bottom corner, but the offside flag went up to rule out the strike.
We took the lead in the 18th minute when Pablo Torre's whipped corner found Muriqi who headed into the bottom corner for his first goal of the season.
We were the stronger side for most of the first half until Güler levelled matters against the run of play with a free header at close range as a result of a rehearsed free-kick routine in the 36th minute.
Things went from bad from worse as a minute later Vinicius Junior turned the game on its head when he turned and twisted on the edge of the box before finding the bottom corner.
Mbappe thought he had added a third moments before the break but he was denied by the offside flag again as we headed into the break a goal down.
The VAR would come to our rescue yet again after the restart as a deflected clearance off Güler found the back of the net but was ruled out for handball in the 58th minute.
Chances were few and far between despite our best efforts to level matters, we were to be denied an equaliser as Álvaro Carreras's intervention prevented Samu Costa from finding an equaliser.
