Taica Corporation President Taito Suzuki says football has always been a big part of his life following the company’s sponsorship of RCD Mallorca.

The αGEL (Alpha Gel) brand of the company is our principal shirt sponsor for the 2021/22 season, and Suzuki says he couldn’t be prouder to have his company aligned with our club.

"Football is something that has been inseparable from my life, and I feel a connection to this sport,” he told club media.  “There are many things I have learned from football and gained from the sport. With this in mind, we can contribute to football and other sports in an active way - the sponsorship of the club is an example of this.

"Companies like ours have realised the importance of launching their brand globally. Take Kubo is only 20 years old and has to keep growing steadily - we want to grow in the same way. I hope this sponsorship will be an initiative that leaves a lasting impression on people around the world. People will see our logo on the chest of the RCD Mallorca players and say: 'oh, that company!' and 'Look, that's the Take Kubo player!’”

The Japanese material manufacturer continues to grow throughout Europe, although the return of Take Kubo to the club has helped the company reach new audiences.

"This agreement is an opportunity to support Take Kubo,” he continued. “If Kubo has an active role, it will appear in sports news and I think that is valuable public exposure.

“When I saw the logo on the chest of players in a world-leading league like Spain, everyone was asking me about our brand. I feel the physical distance to Kubo is shrinking!"
