RCD Mallorca Studios Premieres

The club organised a discussion panel to mark the event and opening of our studios

We are delighted to officially premiere our audiovisual content production studio RCD Mallorca Studios.

We organised a thought leadership summit to mark the occasion in the conference room of the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix with two panels and eight experts from the audiovisual sports scene. The event brought together leading professionals, offering a clear understanding of the sector.

The first panel, entitled “Audiovisual content in La Liga clubs: challenges and trends”, discussed the unstoppable growth of in-house production in Spanish football with Marta Aparicio (LaLiga), Jordi Abel (Barça One), Javi Latorre (Valencia CF) and Albert Salas (RCD Mallorca Studios) discussing the connection with new audiences and building community beyond results.

Salas, director of the newly created project (whose brand has been designed by the creative consultancy Mandarina Brand), said: "There comes at a key moment in the club's history and in which stories can be told. Audiovisual content has become a fundamental pillar in the communication sector and is not only on social media, but appears in all the club's channels."

In the second panel, entitled “The audiovisual industry of sport: stories that conquer the viewer”, the focus shifted to the creative and narrative perspective as Mallorcan filmmaker Marcos Cabotá (author of “Orgull”, the film of the final of the Copa del Rey 2024; and the film that will premiere tonight about the Supercopa 2025, “Crónicas de Yeda”), journalists Rafa Escrig (DAZN) and Jose Sanchis (LaLiga) and the documentary director Marc Pons discussed how sport can become a driver of narratives at the highest level.
