RCD Mallorca and Kings League

We become the first LaLiga club to get involved with the tournament

RCD Mallorca have become the first LaLiga club to get directly involved with the Kings League with the participation of Pablo Maffeo on Sunday March 23.

Why RCD Mallorca decided to participate in the Kings League

The Kings League has established itself as one of the leading digital competitions in the football ecosystem with a reach among younger audiences.

Maffeo's participation allowed the club to be at the center of debate among streamers, Kings League presidents and the media.

Our right back met with figures such as Ibai Llanos, DJMariiO, Gerard Piqué and Kun Agüero and amplified the presence of RCD Mallorca in audiences that usually do not follow LaLiga in a traditional way.

The data

Since Gerard Piqué's announcement last Wednesday, March 19, RCD Mallorca's growth on social media has been significant, with almost 200,000 new followers across all platforms.

In addition, the action has generated a total of 59.2 million impressions, 29.1 million video views, 2.1 million interactions and an estimated reach of 9.5 million users. But beyond the numbers, the real victory has been the impact in terms of awareness and positioning.

Videos of Maffeo in the Kings League surpassed record numbers of views and engagement, with millions of interactions on platforms such as Instagram, X and TikTok. The activation managed to turn RCD Mallorca into a global trend and put it at the center of the digital conversation. The live broadcast captured the attention of 4.5 million viewers, reaching a peak audience of more than 300,000 users. The media coverage was also excellent, with a total of 196 articles published in various media outlets.

This action with the Kings League reinforces the club's strategy of innovating in its communication and betting on new formats that enhance its brand. RCD Mallorca wants to demonstrate that the ability to generate impact and connect with fans is key to long-term growth.
