RCD Mallorca and the Centro Universitario Beato Luis Belda, affiliated with CEU USP, sign a strategic agreement until 2028

The partnership will see both the club and university work together across education and employment

RCD Mallorca and the Centro Universitario Beato Luis Belda have reached a strategic collaboration agreement that will run until June 2028 with the aim of promoting sports, academic training, and student employability in a high-performance professional environment.

The agreement has a strong educational component. Students from the Centro Universitario Beato Luis Belda will be able to complete academic internships at the club's facilities, such as the stadium, the training complex, and the RCD Mallorca Sport Clinic—a space designed to improve athletic performance and recover from injuries—integrating into the daily operations of a LaLiga First Division club and gaining high-level professional experience.

Brand presence and partnership

This center, affiliated with CEU San Pablo University, offers degrees in Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Psychology. Representatives from the Beato Luis Belda University Center will also participate in the RCD Mallorca Business Club, with the opportunity to give presentations and lead activities related to education, strengthening the exchange of knowledge between the academic and sporting worlds.

Looking ahead, the agreement also opens the door to the development of joint degree programmes between the two institutions, reinforcing their shared commitment to educational innovation and specialised training.

This agreement makes the Centro Universitario Beato Luis Belda a strategic partner of the club, with a prominent brand presence across various advertising assets. Among these, the CEU brand will appear on the front of the training jerseys for the club's youth teams, including the women's team, as well as on the name of pitch five at the Antonio Asensio Sports City, where all RCD Mallorca's youth matches are played.

Furthermore, the collaboration includes a presence on audiovisual displays such as video scoreboards, the perimeter LED lighting around the pitch, and screens in the hospitality areas of the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium. Both institutions will jointly organize football tournaments and make the club's sports facilities available to CEU students, thus promoting sports participation and the values associated with it.

Formation, talent and values

In the words of Alfonso Díaz, CEO of RCD Mallorca, “This agreement with the Beato Luis Belda University Center represents a strategic alliance that goes far beyond sponsorship. We share a common vision based on education, talent, and values, and we firmly believe that this collaboration will bring great opportunities to the students, the club, and the entire Mallorcan and Balearic society.”

For his part, Javier Tello, General Director of the San Pablo CEU University Foundation, which oversees the Balearic university center, stated that “the agreement with RCD Mallorca will allow our students to put their knowledge into practice in a demanding, professional sports environment, which will greatly benefit their preparation for the world of work.”

With this alliance, RCD Mallorca and the Centro Universitario Beato Luis Belda consolidate a relationship based on shared values such as excellence, comprehensive education, and the promotion of young talent, laying the foundation for a solid and long-term collaboration.
