We are thrilled to unveil our long-awaited official opening of the RCD Mallorca Sport Clinic, an innovative specialised centre created with the aim of promoting health and general wellbeing through sport.
The new clinic, in collaboration with Optimo Sport, has 600 square metres of space dedicated to sporting performance, rehabilitation and injury recovery.
The event was attended by leading figures from the club, local and regional authorities, as well as official collaborators including club president Andy Kohlberg, CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz, sporting director Pablo Ortells, captain Antonio Raíllo, manager Jagoba Arrasate, director of the RCD Mallorca Sport Clinic Juan Guerra and RCD Mallorca's director of performance and medical services Adolfo Muñoz.
Also in attendance were the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Jaume Bauzá; the President of the Consell, Lloreç Galmés; and the regional secretary of Culture and Sports, Pedro Vidal, together with the manager of the Fundació per a l'esport del Govern, Eladio Huertas; Carmen Planas, Juanjo Talens and Jordi Horrach representing the Condefereación de Asociaciones Empresariales de Baleares (CAEB), the Federació de Bàsquet de les Illes Balears (FBIB) and the Federació de Futbol de les Illes Balears (FFIB), respectively.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to take a closer look at the facilities divided into four main areas: diagnosis and treatment, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and performance. These divisions allow multiple key specialities to be addressed.
Andy Kohlberg said: "We want a stronger club but also a club that is more open, more connected to people, and more important to our community" while Diaz added: "This clinic is born with the ambition to be a reference in health and recovery, both for professional and amateur athletes’."

The centre, which has the collaboration of Juaneda Hospitales, is part of RCD Mallorca's strategy to take another step forward in the transformation of the club and its commitment to the development of sport in the city and on the island. RCD Mallorca season ticket holders already enjoy a 10% discount on any of the treatments available at the RCD Mallorca Sport Clinic.
