We got our season off to a winning start with a 2-0 win against Real Valladolid as Pablo Torre and Antonio Raillo found the back of the net. 

Luis Garcia named his first competitive starting XI with debuts handed to Tenas, Calatayud, Roca and Fuentes. 

With both sides starting slowly, our first real chance came in the 23rd minute as Calatayud's cross into Luvumbo was well saved. 

It would prove to be the only highlight of a lacklustre first half as we headed into the break goalless.

We would have to wait until the 62nd minute until we managed to break the deadlock as Pablo Torre opened the scoring with a fantastic free-kick. 

We would double our advantage 10 minute slater as Sala whipped a cross into the box for Raillo to head home. 

Liso almost had a debut to remember when he scored in the closing stages, although his goal was ruled out for offside as we started our campaign with a 2-0 win.
