We are delighted to officially open to the public the Plaza Fondo Sur, a new space within the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix designed for fans and visitors.
The square, which offers one of the best views of the pitch and where the L'infern 1916 stand is located, will be a meeting point for supporters.
The opening ceremony took place today, Friday 25 April, with fans invited to attend the opening ceremony with activities for children such as inflatable matts and outdoor games.
The event was attended by Alfonso Diaz, the club's CEO of Business, who welcomed Miguel Ángel Bennásar, manager of the IME, and David Salom, Director General of Sports.
A space for the community
From this week, the Plaza Fondo Sur will have regular opening hours with access open and completely free to the general public.
Parking is also available.
On home match weeks, the space will be accessible on Thursdays and Fridays from 17:00 to 20:30h.
On non-home match weeks, it will be open on Fridays from 17:00 to 21:00h and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 to 14:30h.
With this initiative, the club reinforces its commitment to create spaces for coexistence and training around football, bringing the stadium experience even closer to its fans and creating new spaces for the community.
