A late Kike Garcia penalty saw us fall to a frustrating 3-2 defeat to RCD Espanyol as our search for a first win of the season continues.
The hosts took the lead in the 20th minute when Pere Milla put the finishing touch to a whipped cross into the box.
We failed to learn our lesson as RCD Espanyol doubled their lead through Roberto when the attacking player bundled the ball into the net at the back post 14 minutes later.
We pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time when Mateo Joseph was fouled in the box with Vedat Muriqi making no mistake from the spot.
There was more drama to follow before the break as Milla received his marching orders for remonstrating with the referee.
With a man-advantage for the remaining 45 minutes, we looked to dominate possession and find a way back into the game.
Our efforts were rewarded in the 65th minute when Muriqi got his second of the night by heading home Sergi Darder's cross into a dangerous area.
We were to be denied a point as Kike Garcia's late penalty gave the hosts all three points as we headed back to the island empty handed.
