We held our annual club employee versus local media friendly fixture at the Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio this week.
Instead of a single match between the two teams, the participants were divided into six different squads (two made up of media representatives and four of club employees), which were then divided into two groups (three in each group).
After this initial phase, the knockout rounds began to determine the tournament champion and the top four finishers. After a hard-fought final between Jagoba Arrasate's team and one of the media teams, the latter emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win.
Among the participants were the aforementioned Arrasate, Bittor Alkiza, Xisco Campos, the Club's Business CEO, Alfonso Díaz, sporting director Pablo Ortells, and Gustavo Siviero, among others.
But beyond the results, the day provided an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, reconnect with old friends, and share a pleasant time with colleagues who, throughout the year, experience football from different professional perspectives, but who are united by RCD Mallorca.
At the end of the tournament, the traditional Christmas toast was shared by all the participants, followed by a speech from Alfonso Díaz.
