Loan signing Alejandro Pozo says he is looking forward to getting started with his new club.

The full back arrived from Sevilla FC having made 10 appearances across La Liga, Copa del Rey and Europa League, and is hoping to contribute to our fight for La Liga survival.

“I hope this year can be enjoyable here,” he told our official website. “I’m going to give my all for RCD Mallorca. I’ve already motivated to get minutes and to get some game time against Valencia CF. We have to fight right now as right now we are in the bottom three but with strength and dedication we will be able to get out of it.

“I’m versatile and very quick. I like to overwhelm the opposition getting forward and I hope I’m able to give the fans a lot of happiness at RCD Mallorca. Physically I have come here very well, I have kept training very hard." 

Arriving from the Andalusian capital, Pozo says he has been in touch with Salva Sevilla prior to his arrival.

“I have been in contact with him. He is a top player and I hope he will support me a lot. I have to learn from him.”
