The author of the goal of RCD Mallorca, Abdón Prats, and midfielder Dani Rodríguez have evaluated the first draw of the season in mixed zone (1 to 1 in his visit to the Elche field). The striker of Artà explained his feelings: "I'm happy for the goal, but sad for the expulsion. It is true that I arrived a little late, but I think that the expulsion is exaggerated. In the end it is the referee's criteria, I have to respect his decision and keep working so as not to make this mistake".
Mallorca have ten points in the standings after five rounds. Abdón is clear when assessing the start of the league team: "Ten points are good, but I wish we had all the points we could have. We are doing a good job, nobody relaxes. We know how difficult it is to enter the starting team and we have to continue with this dynamic".
For his part, Dani Rodríguez was satisfied with the draw, after finishing the game with one player less than Elche: "It was a very complicated game, but I think the team has responded well. We were able to put ourselves ahead and then, with one less, we have endured the result in a difficult field. They are doing things well, even if the results do not accompany them. Elche is a good team and we have scored a good point".
The Betanzos player believes that the key to the good start of the season is the requirement that all the red players have: "Play who plays, we have a big demand, we work the 90 minutes". Dani Rodríguez has highlighted the difficulty of the second division and the importance of continuing on the right track: "It is very difficult in this category to win games, score points. It seems silly, but you see year after year that teams that start well continue well and finish well. And those who start badly, go all year in tow. It is important to start as we are starting, to go match by match, which is the philosophy we are taking to try to get the matches going".
