Abdón, Jose Copete and Martin Valjent analysed our 1-0 win over Real Valladolid. We registered our first victory of the new year courtesy of a late winner from Abdón Prats at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. Find out what the trio had to say below:
Abdón Prats
"In the end, I work to play, to achieve this, to get points and to make my family, my partner and all my friends happy. It's a joy to see people enjoy such an agonizing victory. These are the first three points of the year and I think we deserved them, especially after such magical celebrations as Los Reyes. We deserved these three points and now we have to keep working.”
Jose Copete
"It was crazy. Winning like this is always special. It was a tough and even match against a Valladolid team that we knew was a very good team and that was going to make things very difficult for us.
"It's true that I've got a lot of minutes in my legs, but it's a good thing. Now we have a few days to rest until the next game."
Martin Valjent
"A hard-fought match, very difficult against a direct rival. As usual, a last-minute goal by Abdón and a very good feeling. Now we have to keep working hard. The match was very even. For us it is not so usual to have such a broken game, we are usually a team that is closer together and we concede less of these counterattacks, but we were able to react and we waited until the last minute for our chance.”
