Dani Rodríguez joined us for the 13th episode of the Endimoniats podcast as our club legend discussed his career, journey and love for the island.
During the conversation, the midfielder shares where it all started for him: "I was lucky enough to have it very clear from an early age. I would walk with my father and when he passed by the Carregal, the Betanzos stadium, I would tell him 'I want to play there'."
It was at Racing Ferrol where his career truly kicked on and started to gain attention from RCD Mallorca during a period of transition. He said: "I always say the same thing in interviews, Ferrol was the stage where I felt like a footballer again. I think the profile they signed in that reconstruction of the club made the group very strong. Those of us who came from outside identified with the club, that was very important for it to continue growing."
