Xisco Campos says the fans’ backing and unity in the dressing room will be the key to RCD Mallorca ending a difficult run of form against Deportivo Alavés on Saturday afternoon.
Looking to get back to winning ways after four consecutive defeats and pull ourselves out of the relegation zone with the hosting of Los Babazorros on Matchday 24, the defender has stressed the importance of everyone connected to the club working towards a common goal.
“Our objective is do everything which is in our hands," he told journalists. "We have to fight against these defeats, we have to all be together and need everyone because the end goal is worth it. We have to look at the positives. It cost so much to get into the top division and there’s a fight to keep ourselves here.
“I see the team is conscious of that, I see it is both brave and determined to do well. If you look at everything seen within this group at times of suffering, it has been when we were on the rocks. Now it’s positive pressure and the motivation is to achieve our goal.”
