Vicente Moreno: 'The Points Will Come As We're Doing The Right Things'
The manager shared his thoughts on the key moments and his side's performance following the 2-0 loss to Valencia CF
Vicente Moreno shared his thoughts following RCD Mallorca's 2-0 defeat at Valencia CF in his post-match press conference. Find out what he had to say about the two penalties, early chances and challenges ahead below:
"It’s worth little to believe that we deserved more," he began. "If we had gone in at the break at 2-0 then we would not have missed anything but before a team of this quality there is that capability of winning two penalties. We had a good game, we hit the post and the crossbar, and errors in the box eventually decided the game. If I count all the chances at the final whistle we would be ahead and Valencia CF would be crazy to have come close.
"The difference in La Liga is the quality and in respect to the performance, I don't know if it had been bad luck or a certain foul. We have to continue and remain calm. We had a great game as usual, but that's to enough to win in the top division.
"Lago Junior couldn't have pulled his arm away and the decision is to give it or not. The feeling is that without those moments then the game ends differently. We’ve been competitive another week and we’ve been doing things well, the points will come."
