Toni Amor: “This team has become a family”

Our assistant manager spoke to our Twitter spaces on the season so far

Toni Amor has shared his thoughts on the season so far with fans via our Twitter Spaces.

At the time of speaking we sit in eighth position and have recorded 31 points, although our assistant manager is keen to build on the work he has helped oversee since joining the club at the end of last season.

"These are fantastic numbers for the team,” he told fans via Twitter Spaces. “Fortunately, since we arrived here, we have recorded 44 points and counting this season and last season together and that speaks very well for the work of the squad.

"The fans are helping us a lot. I am part of RCD Mallorca and this year I am seeing a much more passionate fan base. We feel very supported and that gives us a plus of motivation.”

Our last match saw us beat Villarreal 4-2 at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix and Amor believes that the side can continue their good home form.

"Until the 1-0 the team was good, they looked loose, with a more offensive dynamic than in other matches,” he continued. “The important thing is that we are growing. We are becoming more and more comfortable. We feel very confident at home.”
