RCD Mallorca, La Liga, The Phoenix Suns and the NBA to debate new global marketing initiative

Son Moix will host a number of sporting and business entities at the Mallorca Global Summit this Friday morning

RCD Mallorca is proud to announce it will be hosting La Liga, NBA, the Phoenix Suns and several non-sporting business entities at the Mallorca Global Summit this Friday at 10:00am.

Taking place at Son Moix, the conference will discuss global strategy, marketing opportunities and further establish ties between La Liga and the NBA which will ultimately apply to the club and its relationship with the Phoenix Suns ahead of a new worldwide marketing initiative.

Club owner Robert Sarver and president Andy Kohlberg are among those that will be present as a working example of owning teams from both leagues, while the Arizona franchise’s senior businesses executive Dan Costello will also be in attendance in addition to Spanish and European insight offered by La Liga ambassador Gaizka Mendieta and NBA representative Mark Milic.

Principal stakeholders and sponsors related to all entities have been invited to the summit including OK Cars, Estrella Damm and PayPal CEO Raimundo Sala Albert; a universal relationship that club counterpart Maheta Molango has emphasised is at the crux of the conference.

“For the first time, two sport different sports teams like the Phoenix Suns of the NBA and RCD Mallorca of La Liga join forces to give the brand a global impact that goes beyond borders,” he said. “We will celebrate PayPal’s value in this union between the most important leagues in the world.”

“The sponsorship donation has died, we now believe in a sponsorship experience and that will be the return of an investment. We have invited sponsors to this summit of RCD Mallorca, La Liga and the NBA so they can meet and interact before, during and after the meeting ahead of an event as important as Saturday’s match against Real Madrid.”
