RCD Mallorca and UAB enter partnership over the Heduca project

The club and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona join forces to improve academy well being

RCD Mallorca have signed a collaboration agreement with the Grup d'Estudis de Psicologia de l'Esport (GEPE) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) to develop the Heduca (Healthy Dual Careers) project in grassroots football.

The initiative will be implemented throughout grassroots football at the club to help better develop youth players, contribute to a stable sporting performance and ensure the emotional well-being of each player.

Among the objectives of this new agreement is to study of the variables in the compatibility of studies and sport to make them viable and the aspects that facilitate or hinder the sporting development of players within the structure of a club. Coaches, parents and players of the club will be provided with a training guide.

RCD Mallorca joins entities such as CAR de Sant Cugat and Villarreal CF in continuing to improve the development of grassroots players across sporting and academic life. The club will also develop additional initiatives in collaboration with other entities or with the University of the Balearic Islands to continue growth.
