It’s back to work for our first-team squad.
After two days of medical tests to ensure our players are in the right shape to resume training, our senior side returned to Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio for the start pre-season training.
Manager Javier Aguirre and his staff oversaw a rigorous double session on the pitch and in the gym.
Martin Valjent, Iddrisu Baba and Kang-in Lee will join the squad back on the island in the coming days having been granted extended leave after featuring for the respective international sides, while a number of youth team players also joined in preparations.
The team will train at the Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio until July 13 before heading to Austria for a training camp.
