Matija Nastasić is back.
The Serbian defender will returns to the club after signing a contract as a free agent which will run until June 30, 2024.
Nastasić played a total of 14 matches last season - 10 of them as a starter - and also scored a goal against Atlético de Madrid at the Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano.
Having already represented teams across England, Italy and Germany, he also has European experience having featured 28 times across the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
"I feel very happy, but to be honest, my inner feeling is that I have never left the club, so for me it's not like a new situation," he told club media. "I feel at home, very happy and looking forward to a new challenge."
