Match Report: RCD Mallorca 1-2 Bologna

We suffer defeat in our final friendly game of the winter break

We were unlucky to fall to a 2-1 defeat against Bologna in our final mid-season break.

Tino Kadewere almost got us off to a dream start when he latched onto a cross into the box, but the forward was unable to get his effort on target.

Marco Arnautovic gave the visitors lead in the 20th minute when he received a past from Domínguez and found the back of the net from the edge of the box.

Amath came close to finding a equaliser in the first half but we headed into the break a goal behind.

Kadewere levelled matters in the 54th minute when he headed home Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta’s corner.

Our joy was short lived however as just four minutes later Orsolini scored what would be the deciding goal.

Despite the defeat, a positive from the evening was the return of Pablo Maffeo following a spell on the sidelines as we now look ahead to the return of competitive football.
