Luis García Plaza: ‘We want to give ourselves something to be happy about with a win’

The manager spoke to journalists at his pre-match conference ahead of our clash with CE Sabadell

Luis García Plaza says his side will be looking to register their first three points of the season against CE Sabadell this Sunday afternoon on Matchday Three of the Segunda División.

Having lost our opening game of the season at home to Rayo Vallecano before being held to a goalless draw at RCD Espanyol, García believes nothing less than a win will be satisfactory.

"It would be important to add three points to reaffirm a good feeling,” he told journalists via a remote press conference. “I expect a very complicated match. It’s always is when you face teams that have just been promoted.

"They have very well-worked systems and they're going to make it difficult for us. It is a team that has the advantage of having had time with the same coach.”

Yet to also find the back of the net this season despite some encouraging performances, García is keen to see his side take more risks in the final third this weekend at the Visit Mallorca Estadi.

"We have to be a little more aggressive close to the opposition’s box,” he continued. “If we have the same level of intensity as we did against RCD Espanyol and  have the ball, we can hurt them."
