Estadi Mallorca Son Moix will host the latest edition of the RCD Mallorca Business Club with a special guest: Kilian Jornet, considered one of the greatest mountain athletes of all time and an international benchmark in trail running and mountaineering.
Entitled ‘What drives us’, the event and held on March 26, organised by the RCD Mallorca Business Club and NNormal, we will host an intimate conversation in which Jornet will share his views on creativity, perseverance, effort management, and commitment, values that transcend elite sport and connect with the business, social, and personal spheres.
Throughout his career, Kilian Jornet has won some of the most demanding races in the world, such as the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, the Western States 100, and the Hardrock 100, as well as being crowned champion in multiple editions of the Mountain Ski World Cup. In 2017, he climbed Everest in alpine style and without supplemental oxygen twice in the same week, in a race marked by overcoming challenges and respect for the natural environment.
Beyond his sporting achievements, Jornet promotes a way of understanding sport that is closely linked to sustainability and environmental commitment. Through the Kilian Jornet Foundation, he promotes projects for the preservation of the natural environment and awareness of climate change.
During the event, he will share the stage with prominent voices from the island and a member of RCD Mallorca, establishing a dialogue that will connect mountains, sports, and territory.
A charity event open to the public
On this occasion, the RCD Mallorca Business Club will be a charity event open to the general public. Tickets will cost €5, and all proceeds will go to the Fundació Reial Mallorca and the Kilian Jornet Foundation, supporting social and environmental projects with a direct impact on the community.
