RCD Mallorca trekked to a village with an illustrious history of Mallorcan support to present new midfielder Juan Rodríguez. The plaza in front of the Sa Pobla City Hall was the scene for Club´s sixth official addition to the first team roster, and this addition will bring some much-desired experience to the roster, which meets together this coming Monday.
Juan Rodriguez showed excitement in the new project and his new team, and explained that “everything has been very easy and expedient since I clearly knew that I wanted to come,” after RCDM showed the initial interest. The Malaga-native left his past team Getafe after five seasons, which was “an important phase of my career. But, I have come here to compete and contribute, and it seems like an important and interesting challenge,” added the new player.
When asked about the objectives for next season, the new Bermellone said that “the Segunda division is a long race with a lot of equality, thus, we have to go step by step, in order to gain the confidence that will be key if we want to compete at 100%.”
Like the smiling Juan Rodríguez, Maheta Molango was also happy to be in attendance, and both thanked the Sa Pobla City Hall and UD Poblense for their coordination of the event and their unconditional support of the club.
