On the match:
"We knew we were going to suffer and we suffered. The first goal calmed us down and gave us security. After the first goal, and in my opinion, they gave us more space and as a result of these circumstances, we took advantage of it. We want to be a complicated team for any opponent.
"Rayo Vallecano is a very difficult team. They drew with Barcelona and beat Espanyol. They are a very important team."
On Muriqi and Kang in Lee:
"Muriqi is in a good moment. I was very happy for the goal, and for Kang-in Lee too. Kang is much more liberated. I told him he has to be important for the team. I dare say he is one of the most talented players in the squad."
