Dominik Grief, Martin Valjent and Dani Rodríguez reflect on our 3-0 loss to FC Barcelona

The trio gave their thoughts on a frustrating evening at the Spotify Camp Nou

Dominik Grief, Martin Valjent and Dani Rodríguez were on post-match media duties after we suffered a 3-0 defeat to FC Barcelona. Ansu Fati scored a brace and before Gavi added a third as we were reduced to 10 men early on. Find out what the trio had to say below:

Dominik Greif

"It was a difficult game. It's the last thing you want, a goal in the first minute and then a red card. We suffered against a great opponent like FC Barcelona. You can always do better. We have to improve in every game."

Martin Valjent

"The team showed great mental strength. It's not easy to play on this pitch. The goal in the first minute and then the sending off made the game very difficult for us. The team was disciplined and tried to resist.

"Barcelona are the champions and they are the champions for a reason. Playing here with ten men is very difficult. Congratulations to the team because this effort is to be valued.

"We will go all out for the last home game of the season.”

Dani Rodríguez

"If it's difficult to play with 11 on this pitch so imagine playing with 10. I'll keep what it means to be here for me and for Mallorquinismo; to be able to enjoy these stadiums and these atmospheres. It's a pity that we couldn't play our best game, it was conditioned a lot by that sending off.

"I don't know how long it's been since Mallorca last won 50 points in LaLiga and I think it's a great challenge. To be able to achieve it with our people in our stadium would be incredible. It would be the culmination of a spectacular year. We expect everyone to come to our stadium.”
