Our Marbella training camp has got off to a winning start as a brace from Zito Luvumbo and a goal from Abdón Prats saw us beat Al-Fateh 3-0.
Luis Garcia named Iván Cuéllar in goal; Miguel Calatayud, Antonio Raíllo, Martin Valjent, and Toni Lato in defence; Sergi Darder, Manu Morlanes, and Pablo Torre in midfield; and a forward line of Zito Luvumbo, Marc Domenech and Adrián Fuentes.
We came out looking to dictate the pace of the game through their three midfielders and tried to create danger down the wings, especially on the right. Out of possession, intense pressure was applied every time Al-Fateh tried to build an attack.
Antonio Raíllo would have our first sight at goal in the eighth minute when his header flashed over the bar while Matheus Machado came closest for Al-Fateh.
We would go into the break with a comfortable lead as Zito Luvumbo managed to cut inside and find the far corner with a whipped strike.
Zito wasn't done before the half-time whistle went as shortly after he latched onto a Pablo Torre through ball and made no mistake having rounded the on-coming goalkeeper.
Only Morlanes, Darder, and Valjent remained on the pitch from the starting XI at the restart as Garcia rotated his side with various substitions.
Just after the hour mark Abdon completed the scoring when he put the finshing touch to Jan Virgili's cross into the box.
In control of the game and looking strong in possession, we saw out the advantage to secure a 3-0 win in our first game of our Marbella camp.
