Dani Rodríguez: “We’re feeling good ahead of Getafe”

The winger previewed RCD Mallorca's trip to Madrid this Sunday at his pre-match press conference

Dani Rodríguez says there is a good feeling within the squad ahead of RCD Mallorca’s trip to Getafe CF on Sunday.

The winger has featured in every game so far this season yet is wary that this weekend’s opponents pose a new challenge for Vicente Moreno’s side.

“I expect a tough game as teams under José Bordalás are intense, but so are we,” he said at his pre-match press conference. “We're feeling good ahead of Getafe. We're doing the right things and the feeling is that we have to transform that into victories and points.

“They have a great squad with quality and will be playing at home. I don’t think them being in the Europa League will influence things.”

Still the only player in the squad to have scored during the campaign to date, Dani Rodríguez believes it is only a matter of time before that statistic changes.

“Goals are the final thing we need to add to get points, this is the feeling and I’m not worried because chances are going to come. The important thing is create these chances and to remain calm. In football, you have to be affective in both areas. We're calm, generating goalscoring opportunities and we have to convert it into goals.”
