Victory ensured we remained in La Liga on the final day of the season, with Ángel and Clement Grenier ensuring all three points with goals in the second half. "It's been a tough road, but we were able to pull it off. After the goal we were very comfortable and we were able to manage them.

"I’m so happy - it was a difficult season and in the end I managed to make a place for myself. We have to thank the people for what they have done. It is an impressive achievement and next season we will be in La Liga.”

"We knew it was going to be a difficult match. Nobody said it was going to be easy, but we have achieved it and we have to thank the fans for all the support they have given us during the 90 minutes. RCD Mallorca deserves to be in La Liga.”
